Senior Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Focused on building and scaling cloud-native infrastructure, the remote Senior Platform Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable platforms using Kubernetes and AWS while enhancing automation and driving operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable platform infrastructure leveraging Kubernetes and AWS services
- Develop and enhance platform automation, Infrastructure as Code, and self-service capabilities for engineering teams
- Drive platform reliability, performance, observability, and operational excellence initiatives
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related infrastructure roles
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining large-scale production platforms
- Advanced expertise with Kubernetes, Linux administration, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and monitoring/observability platforms
