Senior Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Owning and evolving the cloud infrastructure, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will design, implement, and operate AWS services, ensuring system security, reliability, and scalability in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own and evolve AWS infrastructure across compute, networking, storage, and managed services
- Design and maintain deployment pipelines that ensure system reliability and observability
- Build and maintain strong observability across infrastructure and services while ensuring secure configurations
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience building and operating production infrastructure in cloud environments
- Deep experience with AWS core services (EC2, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, RDS, etc.)
- Strong understanding of containerized workloads and orchestration tradeoffs
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent)
- Proven experience designing systems for high availability and fault tolerance
