Senior Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Leading high-impact strategic consulting on cloud-native migrations, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will focus on transitioning enterprise workloads to GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) while working remotely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Migrate repositories, user accounts, and access controls to a secure GitHub Enterprise Cloud instance with Enterprise Managed Users
- Establish a governed environment with centralized Identity and Access Management and validate all integrations prior to cutover
- Design and maintain robust infrastructure platforms to empower engineering teams and standardize platform tooling for consistency
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with cloud-native platform migrations and GitHub Enterprise Cloud migrations
- Expertise in managing internal developer platforms and understanding Kubernetes and cloud-native architecture principles
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and HashiCorp tooling
- Strong automation skills in Python, bash, or Powershell
- Hands-on experience with Azure and distributed systems
