Senior Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Joining a dynamic engineering team, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will manage API connections and support the core API Gateway platform while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain integrations with health plan partners, configuring and troubleshooting secure API connectivity
- Manage and support enterprise-scale API Gateway platforms, including upgrades, patching, and deployments
- Operate within AWS environments, utilizing Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and contributing to reliability practices
Required qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in IT systems delivery, operations, or support, preferably in healthcare or high-transaction environments
- Hands-on experience managing or supporting an API Gateway platform at scale
- Strong understanding of OAuth, PKI, certificates, and secure API integration standards
- Working knowledge of AWS (EC2, Load Balancing) and Terraform
- Proven ability to lead technical troubleshooting calls and work directly with external partners
