Senior Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance core infrastructure reliability and security, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will design, support, and improve platform services while collaborating remotely with IT and security teams to resolve complex incidents and automate operational tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Lead responses to complex infrastructure and security incidents to restore service and drive long-term corrective actions
- Provide senior-level technical guidance across cloud, identity, messaging, and virtualization platforms to improve issue resolution
- Optimize performance and cost efficiency of cloud services and on-premises infrastructure while enhancing disaster recovery practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related technical roles
- Experience designing and operating cloud and hybrid infrastructure platforms in enterprise or SaaS environments
- Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and enterprise networking/security practices across cloud environments
- Proficiency in automation and scripting using languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
