Senior Platform Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Platform Engineering Manager to lead platform and security engineering efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Platform and Security Engineers while fostering a high-performance culture
• Own and evolve cloud infrastructure on GCP and drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code practices
• Embed security into the development lifecycle and lead compliance efforts, including SOC 2 Type II

Required Qualifications

• Around 8 years of experience in Platform Engineering, including 3 years in leadership roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, GCP, ArgoCD, Helm, and CI/CD automation
• Experience with observability tools and a deep understanding of DevOps and platform engineering principles
• Experience in security engineering and compliance frameworks, especially SOC 2 Type II and GDPR
• Experience working in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
