Senior Platform Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of platform engineers, the full-time Senior Platform Engineering Manager will plan roadmaps, establish requirements, and manage the development and operational oversight of platform technologies, including observability and DevOps, in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and operational management of automated, secure platforms with AI capabilities for IT and customer needs
• Build and manage the Platform Engineering team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
• Plan and operate an OpenTelemetry Observability platform using technologies such as Grafana, Loki, and Kubernetes

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant technical experience with 4+ years in a management role leading an engineering team
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps/Platform Engineering with end-to-end ownership of developer/infrastructure platforms
• 5+ years of experience with GitLab CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code delivery
• 8+ years of expert-level experience with automation frameworks like Python, Terraform, and Ansible
• 4+ years of experience with security tools such as CyberArk or Conjur, including RBAC design
