Senior Platform Manager, Accounting

Job Summary

As a full-time Senior Platform Manager, Accounting, the successful candidate will oversee the finance accounting platform, driving its evolution to support Airbnb's product offerings while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage the long-term roadmap for the finance accounting platform, ensuring scalability for new products and business models
• Lead the end-to-end process for integrating new products into the accounting platform, from impact assessment to production normalization
• Enhance financial data accuracy and reliability by refining data pipeline monitoring controls and automating operational workflows

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in platform management, product management, or technical program management with a finance and accounting focus
• Expertise in accounting principles, including ASC 606 revenue recognition and end-to-end accounting workflows
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets, including data processing and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Oracle FAH, General Ledger, or equivalent ERP platforms
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
