Senior Platform Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Privia Medical Group clinicians, the full-time Senior Platform Specialist will manage and resolve complex issues related to athenaOne applications, lead project initiatives, and ensure effective platform management while working closely with end-users and the Clinical IT team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in clinical informatics, assisting users to improve efficiencies with athenaNet technologies
• Lead medium to large project planning sessions, manage project progress, and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Train employees and end-users on athena functionality, ensuring proper utilization of the EHR and supporting ongoing maintenance of internal documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
• 2+ years of clinical and/or managed care experience, with a strong preference for EHR configuration and customization experience, particularly with athenaNet
• Understanding of clinical terminology and experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting
• Knowledge of ambulatory healthcare operations, including referrals, scheduling, and patient billing
• Experience using Google Suite or equivalent software and familiarity with project management systems/tools
