Job Summary
To support a new project within the Department of Defense, the full-time Senior Policy Analyst will manage processes for determining service members' fitness for duty and eligibility for separation or retirement due to disability in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the process for evaluating service members' fitness for duty and disability-related separations
- Oversee large groups of staff and personnel involved in policy planning and quality assurance
- Implement and maintain compliance with DoD and VA policies and federal regulations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- PMP or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- At least 5 years of experience overseeing large groups of staff/personnel
- Prior experience in quality assurance and policy planning
- Knowledge of DoD disability evaluation activities is highly preferred
