Senior Policy Director

Job Summary

Serving as a critical thought partner to the Vice President, Policy, the full-time Senior Policy Director will design and execute a bold climate policy agenda for states and the federal government while managing and coaching the policy team remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement actionable work streams for the policy team based on the climate policy agenda
• Solicit input from team members to ensure cohesive integration with State and Federal teams
• Directly manage and coach all members of the Policy team to advocate effectively for the policy vision

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in climate policy development and advocacy at state and federal levels
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams
• Ability to translate complex policy issues into actionable strategies
• Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders and building consensus
• Advanced degree in public policy, environmental science, or a related field preferred
