Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Political Data Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine quantitative models of electoral outcomes for independent candidates
• Analyze public opinion data to assist candidates in understanding and serving their communities
• Design and conduct surveys and political field experiments to enhance candidate strategies

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 3+ years of applied work experience; or a PhD
• Strong background in data science, statistics, or computation applied to politics
• Experience with public opinion data, including survey design and analysis
• Familiarity with U.S. election data and real-world datasets
• Proficient in a statistical programming language (preferably R or Python) and SQL
