Senior Portfolio Manager
Job Summary
Managing a portfolio of existing small business loans, the full-time Senior Portfolio Manager will ensure credit quality, assess borrower financial records, and proactively monitor credit risks while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of credit relationships, ensuring adherence to bank loan policy and sound risk ratings
- Complete quarterly loan reviews and document material changes to loans since approval
- Respond to customer inquiries and monitor delinquent loans, taking action to collect payments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university, along with a minimum of 7 years related banking experience
- Prior experience with SBA lending
- Strong analytical skills to assess financial statements and cash flow
- Knowledge of commercial lending products and ability to match solutions with borrowers
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently or within a team
