Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior PostgreSQL Database Engineer will build, improve, and manage PostgreSQL as a fully managed database service, collaborating with developers and product managers throughout the product lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Engage in feature brainstorming, design, implementation, validation, and customer escalation for PostgreSQL services
- Contribute to the core database engineering team to enhance the Relational Database Service (RDS) for PostgreSQL
- Support the development and management of AWS services, ensuring specialized security solutions for cloud services
Required qualifications
- Experience in PostgreSQL and troubleshooting technical systems
- Experience with Oracle DB is a plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred
