Senior Power BI Consultant

Job Summary

Taking ownership of dashboard and report development, the part-time contract Senior Power BI Consultant will maintain and enhance an existing Power BI implementation while providing client-facing support and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot Power BI reports and dashboards
• Build and optimize Power BI data models, relationships, measures, and visuals
• Work directly with internal project stakeholders and client users to clarify reporting needs

Required qualifications

• 5+ years total experience in BI, reporting, analytics, or data visualization
• 3+ years hands-on Power BI experience, including Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
• 3+ years DAX experience, including measures and performance-aware calculations
• 2+ years SQL experience, preferably with SQL Server or Azure SQL
• Strong understanding of BI data modeling concepts, including relationships and KPIs
