Senior Power BI Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing analytics team, the contract Senior Power BI Developer will design, build, and maintain Power BI semantic models and reports, performing hands-on data analysis and collaborating with business stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI semantic models for consistent reporting and analysis
• Perform hands-on data analysis to validate data quality and uncover actionable insights
• Develop Power BI reports and dashboards that communicate trends and key business outcomes

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in business intelligence and Power BI development
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including semantic model building and DAX measure optimization
• Strong SQL experience for writing and troubleshooting queries
• Experience designing scalable data models, including star schemas and reusable metrics
• Ability to work independently and lead collaborative sessions with business leaders
