Senior Power Plant Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Power Plant Operations Engineer will identify and troubleshoot energy storage system incidents, collaborate with product development for operational sustainability, and create KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and troubleshoot ESS equipment and operational incidents based on customer requirements and operational impact
• Collaborate with the Product Development Team to ensure operational sustainability is considered during new product initiatives
• Develop tools and processes to support continuous improvement and create new rules for the data engine to address root causes

Required qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 1-3+ years of experience with systems incorporating batteries, solar, and power conversion
• Basic knowledge of network communication architectures and protocols
• Experience with Jira & Confluence, SQL, Python, and Linux/command line is a plus
• Knowledge of electrical power and metering systems is advantageous
