Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer - Power System Studies (Interconnection).

Key Responsibilities

Lead generator and large load interconnection support, including project scoping, study reviews, and compliance closeout
Develop steady-state and dynamic interconnection models and perform RMS and EMT studies
Ensure compliance with FERC Orders, NERC reliability standards, and IEEE guidelines while mentoring staff engineers

Required Qualifications

Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on Power Systems
8+ years of experience in power system studies related to generator and/or large load interconnection
Hands-on experience with PSS E, PSLF, and PSCAD software
Strong knowledge of interconnection processes across multiple ISOs and utilities
Experience preparing interconnection models and supporting ISO/utility study review cycles
