Senior Practice Director, Mainframe Management

Job Summary

To lead the growth and innovation of mainframe application management services, the remote Senior Practice Director, Mainframe Management will develop strategic visions, drive AI-enabled service offerings, and oversee operational excellence while managing client relationships and P&L responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic vision for the mainframe application management practice, integrating AI/ML capabilities
• Drive revenue growth by developing innovative AI-enabled service offerings and collaborating with sales teams
• Oversee the delivery of mainframe application management services enhanced by AI-driven tools and analytics

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe application management with progressive leadership responsibility
• 5+ years of experience in practice development, business development, or service portfolio management
• Strong background managing large-scale mainframe environments (z/OS, z/VM, z/VSE) for enterprise clients
• Experience with AI/ML initiatives on mainframe platforms or in hybrid architectures
• Demonstrated success in client-facing roles with C-level engagement experience
