Job Summary
To lead the day-to-day operations of a clinical delivery model, the full-time remote Senior Practice Manager will manage Medical Assistants, oversee provider support and scheduling, and optimize Athena EMR workflows to ensure exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Medical Assistant team, establishing workflows and performance metrics
- Oversee provider operational support, including scheduling and documentation workflows
- Serve as the operational subject matter expert for Athena, optimizing related workflows and processes
Required Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with Athena EMR/Athenahealth
- 5+ years of progressive healthcare operations experience
- Experience managing Medical Assistants or similar clinical support teams
- Experience leading teams in both virtual and in-person clinical settings
- Strong understanding of ambulatory, outpatient, and telehealth operations
