Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer for the federal civilian team, the successful candidate will collaborate with sales teams to understand customer challenges and tailor Pure Storage solutions, showcasing product value and driving revenue growth in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making processes
• Collaborate with account managers and partners to create a seamless customer experience and refine sales strategies
• Lead technical presentations and author responses to RFI & RFPs, translating customer needs into innovative solutions

Required qualifications

• Pre-sales experience is required
• 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications, preferably in enterprise storage or networking
• Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions
• Superior knowledge of current storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, SAN)
• Familiarity with modern web architecture and cloud-native technologies is a plus
