Senior Preconstruction Estimator

Job Summary

To support the expansion of a preconstruction team, the remote Senior Preconstruction Estimator will lead the development of comprehensive estimates for mission critical commercial construction projects, collaborating with various stakeholders to influence project strategy and ensure competitive pricing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of comprehensive estimates from conceptual planning through final bid submission for mission critical projects
• Review project documents to identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions while maintaining cost accuracy
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the preconstruction process to align estimating assumptions with execution strategies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Seven or more years of commercial construction estimating experience, particularly in mission critical or technically complex facilities
• Comprehensive knowledge of building systems and estimating methodologies throughout various design phases
• Proficiency in modern estimating platforms such as Destini Estimator, BlueBeam, and Revit
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple estimates and meet aggressive deadlines
