Job Summary

A company in the insurance industry is seeking a Senior Pricing Actuary.

Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct profitability analyses and evaluate segment and sub-segment performance to continually improve granular pricing of risk
• Bring innovative actuarial techniques and approaches to analyzing difficult GL exposures such as low frequency, high severity layers, or construction defect, liquor liability, etc
• Work closely with business partners and provide direction on ways to improve portfolio performance; become a trusted advisor who brings actuarial insights to promote data-driven decision making

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree, Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Finance related
• At least ACAS, FCAS preferred
• 7+ years of actuarial pricing experience, 2 or more specific to Commercial GL; Construction or Excess Casualty Pricing experience preferred. Large Account pricing or Reinsurance Pricing experience also preferred
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Proven creative problem-solving abilities
