Senior Pricing Analyst
Job Summary
Owning the pricing process from spot quotes to contract structures, the full-time remote Senior Pricing Analyst will analyze freight quote requests, develop competitive rates, and monitor profitability while collaborating with sales and operations teams.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and respond to spot freight quote requests, building competitive rates using market data and historical performance
- Develop and maintain contract rate structures for customer agreements and support RFP pricing proposals
- Monitor margin performance and ensure compliance with contract terms, providing insights for pricing strategy improvements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or analytics, preferably in freight/logistics/3PL
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and modeling; experience with SQL or BI tools is a plus
- Familiarity with TMS platforms and freight market data sources
- Ability to translate data into clear pricing recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
