Job Summary

Driving innovation in generative AI, the full-time Senior Principal AI Scientist will design and train large-scale transformer models, define technical directions for next-generation models, and resolve training instabilities, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale transformer and hybrid foundation models
• Own model architecture decisions and optimize training stability across various paradigms
• Collaborate with ML systems teams to execute distributed foundation model training

Required qualifications

• Deep theoretical and practical understanding of modern deep learning techniques
• Hands-on experience training large models from scratch
• Familiarity with optimization algorithms and training dynamics
• Experience with distributed training strategies and mixed precision techniques
