Senior Principal Cloud Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Architecture Engineer, Senior Principal to support the reliability, scalability, security, and strategic evolution of its PaaS systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape and execute the multi-year cloud architecture strategy, aligning infrastructure with business goals
• Design, build, maintain, and monitor internal PaaS systems in the cloud, focusing on high availability and cost efficiency
• Act as a senior technical advisor on cloud infrastructure decisions and establish best practices across engineering teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or systems architecture
• 3-5 years of experience at the Principal or Staff Engineer level with ownership of architectural decisions
• Proven track record in leading large-scale cloud transformations in high-growth SaaS environments
• Experience in EdTech, FinTech, or compliance-heavy industries preferred
