Senior Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Principal, Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines for Research and Development data using AWS technology
• Create and optimize ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data using various tools
• Implement data quality frameworks, validation processes, and maintain documentation for data processes and architectures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or related fields; Master's Degree preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2 years focusing on healthcare or clinical data
• Expert knowledge of data engineering tools such as Python, R, and SQL
• Proficiency with AWS services, particularly S3, Redshift, and Glue
• Strong background in data modeling and database design
