Senior Principal Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing data engineering organization, the full-time Senior Principal Data Engineer will define technical strategy, architect enterprise-scale data platforms, and deliver high-quality data solutions in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and evolve enterprise-scale data platform architecture for analytical and operational workloads
- Lead architecture reviews and define technology roadmaps in partnership with engineering leadership
- Design scalable ETL/ELT frameworks and establish standards for data modeling and integration
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Data Platform Engineering
- Extensive experience designing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms and data architectures
- Expert-level programming skills in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, REST APIs, and CI/CD
