Job Summary
A computer hardware and services company has a current position open for a Senior Principal Design Systems Developer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Work as a member of an agile, interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality software on a regular cadence
- Gather information to help formulate acceptance criteria, be a user advocate, and be comfortable challenging and discussing the intent of stories
- Lead in design, development, and unit testing of our product
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 7+ years experience in software development practices with popular languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript front-end frameworks
- 3+ years experience using a modern JavaScript framework like React or Vue in a production capacity
- Solid grasp of modern UI design patterns, practices, and technologies based on semantic HTML and CSS
- Demonstrated experience in a development lead capacity working with both senior and junior level engineers
- Strong understanding of accessibility needs including WCAG conformance and ARIA
