Job Summary

To shape the future of AI in software development, the full-time Senior Principal Engineer will set the technical vision for AI integration, prototype solutions, and build foundational systems that enhance AI effectiveness across engineering, working remotely or from various locations.

Key responsibilities

• Set the technical vision for AI across the software development lifecycle and ensure adoption by infrastructure teams
• Prototype complex solutions, write code, and establish high engineering standards for the team
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop tools and AI capabilities that benefit both internal users and customers

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in hands-on technical leadership roles with end-to-end ownership in software development
• Proven track record of setting technical direction across multiple teams and influencing engineers
• Expertise in building large-scale systems, including distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and applied AI
• Strong judgment regarding cost, scale, and efficiency in engineering solutions
• Experience in navigating ambiguity and creating clear plans for technical initiatives
