Senior Principal Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time Senior Principal Engineer will design robust solutions for cloud-native microservices on AWS, enhancing the reliability and scalability of identity security services while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices, optimizing performance and reliability of the platform
- Lead the decomposition of monolithic structures into cloud-native services and manage database scaling projects
- Serve as a strategic technical voice, influencing product roadmaps and advocating for innovative software design trends
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
- 15+ years of hands-on experience in Internet products and technologies, including 5+ years using Java
- Significant experience designing and implementing products on the AWS stack
- Experience in developing modern service-based HTML5 applications
- Understanding of testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and scale testing
