Senior Principal Enterprise Architect
Job Summary
Serving as the enterprise architecture authority for research technology, the full-time Senior Principal Enterprise Architect will develop and steward the enterprise research technology strategy, define reference architectures, and ensure architectural coherence across Penn Medicine's research technology landscape while working remotely from Philadelphia, PA.
Key responsibilities
- Defines and maintains the enterprise research technology architecture strategy and multi-year roadmap
- Develops reference architectures and standards for various research technology platforms
- Architects technical integration pathways between research data environments and enterprise platforms
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 10+ years of Information Technology experience
- 5+ years as an Enterprise Architect
- 5+ years of experience in academic medical center or life sciences research technology environments
- Direct exposure to IRB, NIH funding, and research data governance
