Senior Principal Extend Consultant

Job Summary

Designing, developing, and deploying custom AI agents and Workday Extend applications for clients, the full-time Senior Principal Extend Consultant will work remotely to create innovative workflows and solutions while leading discovery sessions and collaborating with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions to gather requirements and define objectives for custom AI agents and applications
• Utilize Workday Developer Agent and MCP-compatible tools to build extensions and ensure technical designs are maintainable and efficient
• Collaborate with customers to craft agentic workflows and deliver successful deployment solutions

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Workday HCM, Financials, or Student domains
• 7+ years of experience in data migration, integration development, or software development
• 3+ years of experience in Software Architecture & Design
• Extensive knowledge of web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) and authentication methods
• Demonstrated experience in defining agent capabilities and integrating them using Model Context Protocol (MCP)
