Senior Principal Information Science Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Principal Information Science Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead in-depth discovery to understand customer objectives and translate them into problem statements for Semaphore solutions
• Facilitate workshops and advisory sessions on semantic modeling, taxonomy design, and metadata governance
• Act as a trusted advisor, mentoring other consultants and contributing to thought leadership in information science practices

Required Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in information science, knowledge management, or related fields, with a focus on consulting roles
• Knowledge of W3C semantic standards such as RDF, SKOS, and OWL
• Proven success in consultative approaches with enterprise customers and leading complex decision-making processes
• Deep experience with semantic technologies, taxonomies, and metadata management
• US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the Federal team
