Senior Principal Infrastructure Architect
Job Summary
To enhance developer experience and streamline infrastructure provisioning, the full-time Senior Principal Infrastructure Architect will design and build an enterprise-grade Developer Portal and orchestration platform using Backstage in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement the enterprise Developer Portal using Backstage
- Build and maintain Backstage plugins, scaffolder templates, and workflow automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices for platform engineering and developer experience
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in software or platform engineering
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience
- Strong expertise in Backstage platform development and internal developer portal implementation
- Hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and React
- Proven experience with API-driven orchestration and workflow automation
