Senior Principal IO Engineer

Job Summary

Senior Principal IO Engineer, this full-time, exempt position involves researching, designing, and developing computer and network software, while leading teams to architect scalable application solutions and implementing DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop cloud-optimized customer applications and scalable application solutions
• Implement DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code and automated deployment
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud architecture and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in cloud architecture, software engineering, and DevOps practices
• Experience with Linux, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash and programming using Java or JavaScript
• Familiarity with AWS Infrastructure Services, including EC2, S3, and Lambda
