Job Summary

Leading the technical direction for ML-based search serving, the full-time Senior Principal Machine Learning Engineer will focus on optimizing search quality, latency, and reliability while mentoring senior engineers and collaborating across teams in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set technical direction for ranking models, retrieval architectures, and serving infrastructure
• Drive measurable improvements in search quality and system reliability through experimentation
• Lead end-to-end model optimization, including quantization and latency/accuracy trade-offs

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of engineering experience with a focus on ML systems and production infrastructure
• Proven track record in designing low-latency ML serving systems at scale
• Deep expertise in information retrieval and search techniques
• Strong command of model optimization techniques and large-scale serving infrastructure
• Experience with online experimentation and evaluation frameworks for ML systems
