Job Summary
Managing all State and Federal policy functions, the full-time Senior Principal Policy Advisor will establish policy priorities, oversee advocacy tools, and provide policy education to advance strategic objectives in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain partnerships with strategic leaders to adapt policy and legislative strategy in line with business objectives
- Provide engaging policy education through written memos, presentations, and public speaking to various audiences
- Coordinate and manage policy-related materials and meetings for Board and Board committees, ensuring stakeholder engagement and awareness of regulatory changes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10 years of experience in government affairs, regulatory, audit, or compliance roles in PBM or healthcare, with at least 5 years in legislative or regulatory matters
- Deep understanding of legislative and regulatory activities at state and federal levels
- Ability to adapt policy approaches based on successful strategies in regulatory or legislative discussions
- Demonstrated public speaking skills for diverse audiences
