Senior Principal Scientist

Job Summary

Leading a team focused on optimizing and driving the adoption of cross-functional R&D processes, the full-time Senior Principal Scientist - Head of Process Analysis & Adoption will collaborate with scientific, clinical, and regulatory stakeholders to enhance discovery and development efficiency within a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Evolve and lead the Process Analysis & Adoption team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
• Own the VMRD process analysis and adoption portfolio, prioritizing opportunities and managing benefits tracking and reporting
• Drive structured process discovery and optimization using Agile methodologies, ensuring relevant stakeholder engagement and adoption planning

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in process analysis/improvement within regulated R&D environments, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• 5+ years of experience applying Agile methodologies in an R&D context
• Hands-on business analysis experience, including requirements elicitation and process modeling
• Strong command of Agile/Scrum methodologies and familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma; certification preferred
