Senior Principal Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Principal Site Reliability Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full service lifecycle including design, implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement
• Define and meet service-level objectives while reducing toil through automation and self-healing mechanisms
• Lead architecture and production operations for Core System Framework solutions, ensuring clear documentation and runbooks

Required Qualifications

• Ability to acquire and maintain a federal security clearance; must be a US citizen
• Experience in developing and operating large-scale distributed services/applications
• Proficiency in container administration and development using Kubernetes, Docker, or similar technologies
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Chef, or Ansible
• Familiarity with cloud compute technologies and modern programming languages like Go, Java, or Python
