Senior Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Principal Software Engineer - UEFI BIOS.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated systems and software based on customer business goals and needs
• Implement solutions using C/C++ and conduct design/code reviews, debugging complex system software issues
• Collaborate with internal groups and external partners on feature definitions and interface/protocol specifications

Required Qualifications

• BSEE, BSCE, BSCS or related degree plus 12+ years of embedded software development experience
• Knowledge of compilers, assemblers, debuggers, systems software, data structures, and algorithms
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and familiarity with OS Services (Linux or RealTimeOS)
• Experience with Git and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Basic understanding of x86 based personal computer architecture and firmware or BIOS/UEFI development
