Senior Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
Driving the technical vision for the feature store product, the full-time Senior Principal Software Engineer will lead architecture and execution efforts while engaging with strategic customers to ensure their needs are met in a remote-friendly environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and drive the architecture, design patterns, and engineering standards for the feature store platform
- Architect and execute the next generation of the feature store, focusing on scale, low-latency serving, and reliability
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers, leading discussions and translating their requirements into actionable engineering priorities
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in backend/infrastructure engineering with expertise in large-scale distributed systems
- 3+ years in a technical leadership role, mentoring engineers and driving architecture decisions
- Deep experience with ML infrastructure or feature engineering systems at scale
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Go, and Rust
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern data infrastructure technologies
