Senior Principal Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the systems engineering team, the full-time Senior Principal Systems Engineer will manage the program lifecycle for Space-based Systems, overseeing requirements development, architecture, and integration while working primarily remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering leadership to develop and implement requirements, CONOPS, architecture, and integration of space missions
• Manage and control the technical baseline, including cost, schedule, and risk management
• Guide multi-disciplinary teams in system architecture, verification, and integration & testing processes

Required qualifications

• BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field, with 10+ years of related experience
• Demonstrated experience in systems engineering processes, including requirements development and change management
• Proven leadership experience with multi-disciplinary teams meeting cost, schedule, and performance goals
• Experience with networking systems and knowledge of missions and customers across core technology areas
• Exceptional presentation skills for engaging with senior decision-makers and technical audiences
