Senior Privacy and Cybersecurity Counsel

Job Summary

As a key member of the global legal team, the full-time remote Senior Privacy and Cybersecurity Counsel will manage commercial negotiations related to privacy, AI, and security matters while providing compliance advice aligned with the company's global business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to assess risks and negotiate complex client contracts concerning Security, Privacy, and AI
• Partner with product teams to support business objectives and provide compliance advice on international privacy, AI, and security laws
• Guide data owners on AI reviews, Privacy and Security by Design, and conduct Privacy Impact Assessments

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years' experience advising on AI, cybersecurity, and privacy law within technology companies
• Proven track record in negotiating privacy and security issues in SAAS or IASS agreements
• IAPP certifications (CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) and preference for AI-related certification
• ISACA Cloud or Security certifications (CISSP preferred) are advantageous
• Extensive expertise in crafting and refining legal language for technology agreements
