Senior Privacy Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel, Privacy (Americas and Asia).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary privacy counsel for the Asia region
• Monitor and analyze developments in global privacy laws and regulations
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal privacy policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• J.D. Degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least 1 state bar
• 8+ years of national law firm or in-house experience focused on privacy
• Solid understanding of data protection laws and regulations globally
• Experience drafting and negotiating data processing agreements
• IAPP CIPP or AIGP Certification(s) a plus
