Senior Privacy Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Privacy Engineer to embed privacy into the software development lifecycle and ensure data protection standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the Privacy by Design program, embedding privacy requirements into product development
• Conduct privacy-focused code and architecture reviews, and integrate privacy tools into CI/CD pipelines
• Translate regulatory requirements into technical controls and perform privacy threat modeling for new systems

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Security, or Privacy preferred
• Eight years of software or security engineering experience, with three years in privacy engineering
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and hands-on privacy threat modeling
• Knowledge of privacy frameworks and regulations, such as GLBA and CCPA/CPRA
• Certifications like CIPP/US, CIPT, CIPM, or CDPSE preferred
