Senior Process Piping Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Process Piping Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed piping designs, layouts, and specifications while performing stress analysis and thermal expansion calculations
• Lead piping engineering efforts, ensuring project adherence to timelines and budgets while coordinating with other engineering disciplines
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards, conducting quality assurance checks and resolving issues during construction and operation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience managing large-scale piping projects in industries such as oil and gas or chemical processing
• Proficiency in piping design software (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, SmartPlant, CAESAR II)
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and material science
• Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PE license, PMP certification) are preferred
