Job Summary

Leading strategic sourcing and high-level negotiations, the full-time remote Senior Procurement Officer will manage complex vendor partnerships and drive financial impact for cloud infrastructure procurement at Runpod.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end negotiations for intricate, high-value agreements, focusing on optimal payment structures and strategic discounting
• Manage relationships with critical suppliers to secure favorable terms for infrastructure needs
• Act as the primary liaison between the procurement team and Legal, ensuring smooth contract execution and compliance with legal requirements

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience managing the full lifecycle of procurement with a focus on enterprise-level contracts
• Strong understanding of financial structuring within contracts, including payment terms and capital expenditures
• Ability to navigate and review complex legal jargon to protect company interests
• Proven problem-solving skills in addressing supply chain challenges and vendor dynamics
• Successful completion of a background check
