Senior Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Principal Procurement Specialist (US Citizenship REQUIRED).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and obtain solicitations including RFQ, RFP, RFI, and cost proposals from subcontractors and service providers
• Analyze cost/price, technical capability, and financial viability while managing supplier critical paths
• Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations, ensuring compliance with government regulations

Required Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience
• Minimum 8 years of experience with DoD procurement/subcontract compliance with FAR/DFAR and other regulations
• Experience with SAP (PRISM/APEX), automation tools, and processing information
• Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, T&M, etc.)
• Demonstrated commitment to high ethical standards and interpersonal skills for diverse environments
