Senior Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Director of Global Procurement, the full-time Senior Procurement Specialist will manage vendor relationships, execute procurement initiatives, and monitor supplier performance while working remotely or onsite in Carlsbad, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Support procurement initiatives and cost-saving programs, reviewing and approving supplier partnerships and agreements
• Own the RFQ process for Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, qualifying vendors and ensuring service level continuity
• Monitor vendor performance and service quality, providing insights and identifying opportunities for improvement

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of progressive procurement or sourcing leadership experience, preferably in logistics or transportation
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and contract structuring skills
• High proficiency with Google Workspace applications, especially Google Sheets
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant certifications a plus
• Willingness to learn and leverage AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency and workflows
